Niles Bolton Associates has a long history of applying “green” concepts in our projects to develop sustainable communities. From our first sustainable community in 2002, NBA has steadily increased our knowledge of sustainability and has incorporated it into our design culture. NBA considers the owners sustainable goals, the project requirements and the budget to achieve a balanced sustainable project. We then develop a strategy to achieve the overall sustainable goals, whether that be an EnergyStar rating or a LEED rating. NBA has invested in our knowledge of sustainability by participating in sustainable organizations such as the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). We are also the founding sponsor of the Southeast Region chapter of the Building Envelope Council (BEC), a subcommittee of the American Institute of Architects.
