An analytical thinker who is not afraid to ask tough questions, Bill excels at creating clear, workable solutions. His calm demeanor and stabilizing influence account for why he’s retained many of the same clients for more than 30 years.
Over the course of 39 years, Bill has used his extensive knowledge of architecture and planning to drive projects from resort to residential, from retail to institutional. He’s at his best in dealing with—and figuring out—challenging sites that pose topographic problems. Often working under the radar, he is adept at building consensus and finding cost-effective solutions that achieve market and client acceptance.
A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bill joined his college roommate Niles Bolton in the firm’s second year. As an original Principal in the firm, Bill has played a key role in the growth and development of the firm’s diverse practice.
