Station Square Ronkonkoma
Ronkonkoma, New York

Summary
As part of a master plan for the 50-acre site, NBA is collaborating with the Town of Brookhaven to create a vibrant, walkable urban village. The TOD will serve as both a gateway to New York City and Long Island’s beaches and wineries, and a gathering spot on its own. A cluster of six stylish residences, each with its own unique character, anchors the first phase of this transit-oriented development. Standing at the crossroads of commuter train, highway and air service, the 489 units in Alston Station Yards provide much needed rental housing and urban amenities for Ronkonkoma.

The second phase, reached via tastefully landscaped paseos from the north side of the Long Island Railroad Station, Core Station Yards is not only convenient for travelers to New York City and the island’s popular North and South Forks, it’s becoming a destination on its own for shoppers, diners and other area visitors. An eclectic blend of 1920s industrial and traditional contemporary architecture, the four-building luxury complex boasts 388 new apartments, 73,000 square feet of retail space, a village green of about 10,000 square feet, and parking for 1,232 vehicles.
