Confidence and clarity define Laura. She is truly adept at reading between the lines, helping clients better articulate their vision and interpreting their ideas into a polished design that can work for everyone and showcase the firm’s talents.
Colleagues and clients alike see Laura as a valuable resource—the person to turn to for answers and information whether in crafting impactful designs, figuring out solutions to overcome budgetary constraints on a time crunch, or mentoring newer employees. Her work looks to the past as a jumping off point for inspiration to create buildings with a fresh take on what has come before. An organizational whiz, Laura is also a vital member of the Revit committee, working with outside consultants to keep NBA on the leading edge of ever-changing technology. Her projects have centered on multifamily housing, including a high-rise in New York and a LEED Platinum mid-rise complex in Washington, D.C.
Laura is a graduate of ULI Washington’s Leadership Institute, Class of 2025, and contributes to the Case Study Committee and Women’s Leadership Initiative. She also serves on AIA|DC’s Housing the DMV Region Committee. Laura attended Georgetown University, receiving a Bachelor of Art History, and Boston Architectural College, where she earned a Master of Architecture.
