There’s always something new to learn, which is what drives Jim to seek out knowledge from colleagues, consultants, and outside institutions to deliver sophisticated urban architecture backed by rigorous contract administration and technical coordination. He excels at turning complex design concepts into constructible reality through careful detailing and robust specifications.

With a passion for the multifamily residential sector, his portfolio totals over 4.2M square feet of residential projects. Recognized nationally, one of his projects earned honors in 2021 as a national finalist for the NAHB’s mid-rise apartment community award and another received the Best Renovation – Adaptive Reuse award at the 2025 NAIOP DC|MD Awards of Excellence.

Recently, Jim has worked in student housing, market-rate multifamily, and office-to-residential conversions. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Architecture with honors in 2009.
