The Beacon at Cooper Street
Atlanta, Georgia

Summary
The Beacon at Cooper Street builds on Atlanta’s Rapid Affordable Housing Initiative as NBA’s second completed modular community, expanding access to stable housing for residents experiencing homelessness. Developed in partnership with the City of Atlanta and Partners for HOME, the community introduces 112 modular residences within two, three story buildings designed to create a welcoming and supportive residential setting. Each approximately 285 square foot unit is complemented by nearly 9,000 square feet of shared amenities, including staff offices, a resident café, conference rooms, and communal laundry facilities that encourage connection and access to services. The development demonstrates how modular delivery can accelerate housing solutions while maintaining quality, efficiency, and long term durability. As Atlanta surpassed 500 rapid housing units citywide, The Beacon at Cooper Street represents another meaningful step toward strengthening housing stability and community support across the city.
