Summary
Meridian at Fondren is a market-rate, mixed-use development that was constructed on property owned by, and adjacent to, the University of Mississippi Medical Center. With 336 beds in 240 residential units,  7,500 SF of office space, and 2,500 SF of retail space, the property caters to the school’s medical professionals and students. This public-private partnership -- the first of its kind in the neighborhood -- is intended to create a medical economic-development corridor in Jackson linking the area’s major roadways through hospitals, clinics, research labs and related projects.
