Niles Bolton University

Niles Bolton University (NBU) is an in-house continuing education program consisting of weekly lectures and presentations. Offering 100+ AIA accredited classes per year, the mission of the NBU program is to help our staff grow professionally and personally by becoming better individuals and team members.

Manufacturers, distributors and consultants present AIA accredited programs that educate staff on various components of construction, such as engineering services for design and construction materials used on projects.

NBU Roundtables & Sustainability Presentations

Roundtables differ in format and are hosted by NBA staff. A topic may be presented with a slide show or a panel with multiple speakers, encouraging an open discussion. The goal is to broaden the knowledge base through open exchange of experience, solutions and ideas.

Consultant, vendor and in-house staff hosted sustainability presentations cover current trends, innovations and office standards in sustainable design. Similar to the roundtables, these lunchtime meetings consist of presentations, panel discussions and open roundtable conversations.

Risk Management Seminars

Risks can stem from a wide variety of sources and being able to identify, assess and control these threats is essential to the architectural practice. NBA provides opportunities for staff at all levels to understand project and business-related risk.

Revit Training

Sessions are taught by varying members of our in-house Revit Committee and range from the introduction of NBA’s office standards to implementation of advanced tools and building modeling techniques. Past sessions are recorded and available for all staff to access on-demand.
