Busy Schedules, Full Plates, and Office Fun

If there’s one thing we’ve mastered this season, it’s staying busy while still finding time to enjoy each other’s company. Between deadlines, meetings, site visits, and everything else that comes with a full workload, our office has been buzzing. But no matter how packed the calendar gets, we always make room for a little fun.

This fall and early winter gave us plenty of reasons to step away from our desks and come together.

First up: the Chili Cook-Off. Nothing brings people together quite like friendly competition and comfort food. From classic recipes to bold, unexpected flavors, the variety was impressive, and so was the enthusiasm. Let’s just say there were strong opinions, second helpings, and more than a few people quietly asking for recipes. Managing Director, Cannon Reynolds won Best Overall, claiming the title Chili King.

October also brought Halloween, which gave everyone a chance to show off their creative side. Costumes ranged from clever to downright hilarious, proving once again that our team’s personality shines just as much outside of project work as it does within it.

Congrats to Inocencio Ruiz for Best Costume as the iconic “Guess Who?” game.

Special shout-out to Mohamed Mohsen’s Studio for getting his entire studio (or office?) involved in the fun!

Then came Eat Till You Drop, which lived up to its name. It was the perfect excuse to slow down, share a meal, and catch up with coworkers we don’t always get to see during the day-to-day hustle. Sometimes the best conversations happen over a full plate.

We wrapped things up with our Tacky Sweater Cookie Exchange, a seasonal favorite. Between the over-the-top sweaters and homemade (and store-bought—no judgment!) cookies, it was the perfect mix of festive and fun. These events reminded us that even during the busiest time of year, taking a moment to celebrate together makes all the difference.

As we head into the end of the year, we’re grateful for a team that works hard, shows up for each other, and knows how to have a good time along the way.

Happy Holidays 🎄
