One of NBA’s recent student housing towers, Whistler, was recognized with two coveted Student Housing Business Innovator Awards at the 2024 Interface Student Housing Conference in Austin, Texas! Whistler’s carefully curated design brought a new level of sophistication to the Midtown neighborhood with this 25-story, 565-bed tower. It offered Georgia Tech students a lifestyle that was unmatched and set a new standard for student living in the Atlanta market and across the country.
You might suspect you’ve accidentally stumbled into a spread from Architectural Digest, not a student housing project, when you walk in Whistler’s front door. Inspired by the deep roots of Atlanta’s music and soulful culture, the warm, vintage-inspired lobby, layered with plants, cozy furniture and eclectic décor, raises spirits, drops jaws, welcomes you in and invites you to stay a while.
Ready for Georgia Tech’s Fall 2023 semester, Whistler is the popular new kid on the block that accomplishes the city’s initiative to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment within Midtown, while providing students unmatched amenity spaces and views of the city and campus. The project outperformed all expectations in a competitive market, achieving 98% pre-leasing prior to delivery.
